THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY!
I am Sheri Allen and some individuals have been accusing me of terrible things, abuse and neglect of the cats at the sanctuary. On May 29th, I was informed that F.L.O.C.K. was going to run the sanctuary with the same people as when they were in Sloan, but wanted me to remain as President. I could not be a part of that. I voluntarily left the organization at 2:30pm, May 30, 2007. The yard and cats were in good condition as well as left with full water and food bowls. Some of the new F.L.O.C.K. board members and staff arrived at approximately 4:00pm. that day. Letter Regarding Sloan Facility Perhaps the investigative reporters should question why F.L.O.C.K. relocated from their large Las Vegas property to Pahrump. Perhaps they should report that Animal Control was out several times during my supervision and the issues were some diarrhea, some upper respiratory, some underweight cats, and not enough manpower. They were totally right and those concerns were being addressed. To my understanding, they were at F.L.O.C.K. a week and a half after I left and obviously the conditions didn't warrant citations or investigation. Yet 6 weeks after my resignation, the conditions were horrible and it is my fault. My question - Who was responsible for the cats for that 6 weeks period after I left? Because of the slanderous accusations I feel it necessary to post some of the correspondence I have received regarding the care of the cats at F.L.O.C.K. while under my supervision.
